A grant from the Triodos Foundation allows us to develop AvatarZOO into a veterinary simulator for the training of clinical procedures. The first product will be an application to practice the venipuncture procedure (= drawing blood from the tail vein) in cattle, with dedicated personalized feedback to the user. This allows us to make a large step forward towards our ambition to increase animal welfare and minimize the use of experimental animals for education.
